Tone has been the managing director of TPG since 2006. Tone began in TPG as consultant in 2000, and since then she has been engaged in various projects within the areas of leadership development, organisational development, strategic implementation and technological cultivation. Through the years, Tone has developed a special interest in, and talent for, working with environments characterized by strong, autonomous and highly-competent people.
Tone works in a number of industries, however she has gained special experience in the fields of research and development/innovation. She has also led various projects within the media industry since 2001, which includes a management-for-hire position within a leading Norwegian media firm from 2004-2005.
Tone holds a PhD in Informatics from the University of Oslo. She was a leader at the University Centre of Information Technology before joining TPG. Prior to this she was a researcher at the Department of Informatics at the University of Oslo. In addition to her PhD, Tone has a number of certifications from the Norwegian School of Management and the Danish Institute for Supervision, Personal Development, Education and Consultation.
In her spare time, she loves to mountain bike and inviting family and friends for dinner.
