The main feedback from our last Performance Café on effective management teams was a desire for even more depth and knowledge. TPG takes this seriously. This year, TPG consultant and co-author of Effective Management Teams (Effektive ledergrupper, Bang & Midelfart, Gyldendal, 2012) Thomas Nesset Midelfart, with Andreas Wettre and other experienced TPG consultants will go into depth on the research-based framework for developing effective management teams.

We will spend the time discussing challenges relevant to your daily work, and learn from each other. Further we will be very specific on how you as a leader of a management team or part of a management team may become more effective, and take a close look into different processes in each session. Get new insight by joining us for one session or build competence by joining us for up to six sessions through 2012.

Get a closer look at the following topics

What characterises Norwegian management teams?

  • How do they spend their time, what do they produce, and what is the connections between how the team works and the results the organisation creates?

What are the premises for effective management teams?

  • Which framework conditions need to be in place in order to develop a successful management team? Do the different topics which the team is working with; interfere with how effective it is? How important is it do define a clear goal for the management team?

Which processes influence effectiveness in management teams?

  • What characterizes communication and interaction between members of effective management teams? How do effective management teams relate to their surroundings? How do they manage to learn from their mistakes and successes?
