Book launch is fun. Our colleague Thomas initiated writing a book with Henning Bang, on management teams. Effective management teams. Gyldendal Forlag are proud to be the publisher. We are proud colleagues.
On Monday this week, Dagens Næringsliv wrote about motivation cultures and what promotes and restrains high performance (page 16 and 17). They quoted BI researcher Christina Nerstad, stating in her doctoral theses that focus on performance only may lead to employees who cheat, get afraid of taking risks, get burned out or quit. But what type of leadership is recommended?
We meet the co-author of the book “Effektive Ledergrupper” (Effective management teams), Thomas Nesset Midelfart, just a few days before the book launch. More than 120 leaders have registered their attendance to the launch at Gyldendal publishing house, and we are curious about the journey from the book idea to final publication.
