On Monday this week, Dagens Næringsliv wrote about motivation cultures and what promotes and restrains high performance (page 16 and 17). They quoted BI researcher Christina Nerstad, stating in her doctoral theses that focus on performance only may lead to employees who cheat, get afraid of taking risks, get burned out or quit.
